Cast of Characters

Carolle Stanley (starring lead, female)

A workaholic businesswoman in her late 40s or early 50s. She begins the story cold and distant and slowly transforms into a much warmer and caring version of herself. Her character is comparable to Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol.

Requirements: high level of commitment, low number of absences, ability to walk in heels

Candlelight, Ghost of Christmas Past (supporting lead, female)

A sweet, friendly, and nostalgic spirit that orchestrates parts of the story. She oversees the tech department. Her character is comparable to the Ghost of Christmas Past from A Christmas Carol.

Requirements: high level of commitment

Mistletoe, Ghost of Christmas Present (supporting lead, male)

A bold, cheerful, and musical spirit that orchestrates parts of the story. He oversees the costumes and makeup department. His character is comparable to the Ghost of Christmas Present from A Christmas Carol.

Requirements: high level of commitment, ability to sing a few Christmas carols

Darkshade, Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come (supporting lead, male)

A haunting, eerie, and dense spirit that orchestrates parts of the story. He oversees the set and prop departments. His character is comparable to the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come from A Christmas Carol.

Requirements: high level of commitment, preferably a tall actor

Marley Jacobs (supporting, male)

Carolle’s former business partner (who died years prior) and the catalyst that encourages the three spirits to give her some help. His character is comparable to Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol.

Michael Baker (supporting, male)

Carolle’s first husband and the father of Emily. He is a successful fashion journalist and has a good relationship with his daughter. His character is comparable to Belle from A Christmas Carol.

Emily Baker/Young Carolle (supporting, female)

Carolle and Michael’s daughter. She is a talented ballet dancer and longs for a healthy relationship with her mother. She is dating Elliot. Her character is comparable to Fred from A Christmas Carol. This role is paired with the younger version of Carolle.

James Nigel (supporting, male)

Carolle’s second (and current) husband. The pair’s relationship is on the rocks and needs healing and repair. He comes across as a bitter and angry person because of the relationship neglect.

Jacqueline Nolan (supporting, female)

Carolle’s second assistant (previously Jacob’s assistant) at Stanley & Jacobs. She can be dramatic, but does good work. She is the caretaker of her nephew Cooper after the death of his parents and is dating Tanner. Her character is comparable to Bob Cratchit from A Christmas Carol.

Requirements: ability to walk in heels

Tanner Wilson (supporting, male)

A young and ambitious fashion designer. He works for Stanley & Jacobs and is dating Jacqueline. He has a kind heart and helps take care of Cooper. His character is comparable to Mrs. Cratchit from A Christmas Carol.

Andrea Decker/Phoebe Decker (supporting, female)

Carolle’s first assistant and childhood friend. The pair grew up together in the fashion industry and both have had successful careers. She used to manage models for fashion shows, but now works as Carolle’s second in command. This role is paired with Andrea’s mother, Phoebe, who was Carolle’s babysitter.

Pastor David Roth (male): An older man and pastor at a local church.

Lily West (female): The volunteer manager for a local nonprofit that supplies food to families in need.

Oliver Stanley (male): Carolle’s absent and distant father and husband of Sarah.

Sarah Stanley (female): Carolle’s absent and distant mother and wife of Oliver.

Cooper Simmons (male): Jacqueline’s orphaned nephew that she cares for. Requirements: young actor for child role

Leonard Saint-Lavigne (male): A prestigious fashion designer and Carolle and Andrea’s previous employer. Requirements: French accent

Yvette Saint-Lavigne (female): A prestigious fashion designer and Carolle and Andrea’s previous employer. Requirements: French accent

Child Carolle (female): A much younger version of Carolle. Requirements: young actress for child role

Child Andrea (female): A much younger version of Andrea. Requirements: young actress for child role

Ryan Richardson (male or female): A fashion designer for Stanley & Jacobs.

Alexia Kane (female): A model for Stanley & Jacobs. Requirements: ability to walk in heels

Roger Jackson (male): An older man and Elliot’s father and husband of Helen.

Helen Jackson (female): An older woman and Elliot’s mother and wife of Roger.

Elliot Jackson (male): Roger and Helen’s son and Emily’s boyfriend.

Doctor (voiceover only, male or female): Carolle’s doctor during her pregnancy.

Emcee (voiceover only, male or female): The announcer at a fashion show.
